Album 4

Band name: I Am Ghost
Genre: Gothic Metal
Album: Lover's Requiem
Tracks: 12 (13)

First things first is the track count (12 (13)) depends on if you've discovered "The Malediction" from their Japanese release. So I guess I'll start there. he song is one of the Duets of this concept album. It's a nice piano song that compared to most of the songs on the album is relaxing. But it's quite a sad song. Now back to beginning of the album with "Crossing The River Styx" which has it's lyrics entirely in Latin. They're mostly spoken word though, not to interesting on a single aspect but when you look at the whole album it's awesome.
Track two is where the non spoken word songs kick in. "Our Friend Lazarus Sleeps" is an interesting song I enjoy it. Track three "Killer Likes Candy" is the most entertaining song on the album and it's the first song of this band I'd ever heard. It's Very entertaining well written and it continues the story line that I don't comprehend completely. Track four is one of the heaviest songs on the album and it's yet again one of the best. The Vocals continue being crisp and use the wicked use of imagery. Track Five is a GREAT song. But it's also the second time it's been done. There are things I like in the older version and things I like better in this version. All in all I'm mixed. I like but disagree with changes made to the song.
I think that's a good cover of most of the songs, and I will say I only dislike one song on this album and that's because of preference. Not because of bad writing.

Overall: 8.3 / 10

Recommended songs: Pretty People Never Lie / Vampires Never Really Die, Killer Likes Candy, Lover's Requiem.
